Fuel Tanker Accident at Wasa Dadieso Claims Six Lives, Injures Nine

A tragic accident occurred at Wasa Dadieso in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region, claiming six lives and leaving nine others injured.

The crash involved a fuel tanker with the registration number GT 698 : 22, which was traveling from Bawdie to Kumasi. The tanker lost control and collided with a Nissan mini passenger bus, commonly known as “Stanbic.”

Among the six victims was a young girl, while the injured, including nine individuals in critical condition, were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to the Police Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), the bodies of those who lost their lives, including the young girl, have been taken to the morgue.
