Koo Ntakra discusses new single ‘Guy’, feat. Yaa Pono

Ghanaian rapper Koo Ntakra has joined forces with Yaa Pono on the remix of his song “Guy”.

“Guy”, was originally released as a single by Koo Ntakra seven months ago.

In an interview with DJ Hitman on the DL Entertainment Show on DLFM, the Koforidua-based musician disclosed he decided to team up with Yaa Pono on the song because most of his fans were calling for the collaboration.

“After releasing the original song last year, and deciding on remixing it, I asked my fans on Facebook which artist I should do the remix with. An overwhelming 90% of respondents suggested Yaa Pono for the remix,” he said.

According to him, his new song is doing well, and the positive reception on his comeback  shows Ghanaians missed him a lot.

On the inspiration behind his latest project, Koo Ntakra said he wanted to bring back the street slang “guy” into the system. The term “Guy” in the song means smart or sophisticated.

“Guy” was produced by KP BEATZ and mixed by QHOLA BEATZ.

The visuals of the song was directed by DHIZAINA1.
