Renowned Ghanaian gospel singer, Nacee, has shared reasons behind his split from No Tribe group.
According to Nacee, the main problem arose from misunderstandings about the financial management of the group. While he was actually sacrificing for the group, the other members mistakenly believed that he was spending their money.
Despite Nacee’s best intentions, the financial disagreements and lack of understanding ultimately led to a decision to take a break from the group. It was a difficult choice, but he felt it was necessary to avoid further conflicts and to focus on other aspects of his career.
“So, what happened was that I gave them money to hold on to until the money comes… Before the money came, there were already problems. Then I said, I’m tired of all the complaints, and if they can’t see anything good in what I do, let’s pull a break.”
Currently, Nacee has risen to become one of the hottest musicians in Ghana, enjoying massive success with his latest single “Aseda,” which has topped the charts and gained significant traction on the airwaves and social media. Many pundits and entertainment critics predict that he stands a strong chance of winning the 2024 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
