Ex-Kotoko striker Kabiru Moro dies after collapsing on pitch

Former Asante Kotoko striker Kabiru Moro has reportedly died after he collapsed on the pitch while playing football.

He was playing in a community game in Akwatia in the Eastern Region when he collapsed.

Family members have expressed their grief and concern, attributing some blame to the hospital for the inability to revive him.

Moro is expected to be buried Wednesday in accordance with Islamic custom.

Aside Asante Kotoko, Kabiru Moro also played for Real Tamale United (RTU) and champions Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
