Ghanaian international goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott has made a move to Scottish club Hibernian FC, signing a three-year contract with his new team.
Wollacott’s transfer comes after a brief spell with Charlton Athletic, where he showcased his skills between the posts during the previous season.
The acquisition of the shot-stopper is seen as a strategic move by Hibernian FC coach Lee Johnson, who previously worked with Wollacott at Bristol.
According to Johnson, Wollacott possesses exceptional athleticism, courage, and self-assurance, making him a valuable addition to the team, especially with important competitions on the horizon.
Johnson further emphasized his longstanding familiarity with Wollacott and expressed his delight in witnessing the goalkeeper’s progression, as he now boasts an impressive tally of over 100 appearances and has also represented Ghana at the international level.
