Social media has been awash with commentary about the health condition of Afro-pop sensation KiDi.
Reports say, the Lynx entertainment signee, whose real name is Dennis Nana Dwamena, has been battling stroke for some time now.
The unfortunate news comes barely weeks after the “Say Cheese” hit maker postponed his highly-anticipated North American tour, citing health reasons.
“It is with heavy hearts that announced the postponement of my Golden Boy North American Tour. I understand how incredibly disappointing the news is for a lot of you.
“I had to make this decision to postpone the tour due to health issue and I want you to know that this decision was not made lightly. A tour of this magnitude and level of commitment it will take may put me at risk of further damage to my health,” Kidi announced in a statement.
Though the statement did not disclose the sickness, some industry folks are speculating the suave musician is down with stroke, and that forced him to push his tour to another date.
Meanwhile, KiDi’s manager Richie Mensah has quashed the stroke rumours, calling it click bait. The Lynx entertainment boss rushed to Twitter Thursday evening to calm fans down about the widely circulating reports about his client.
“KiDi hasn’t had a stroke. Ignore the rumours and the click bait,” he tweeted.
