Hajia4Reall to be sentenced today by US court for internet fraud

Ghanaian musician and socialite Hajia4Reall, whose real name is Mona Faiz Montrage, is set to be sentenced today, June 28, 2024, in a US court for internet fraud charges to which she has pleaded guilty.

Her legal team has requested a three-month sentence, because she is a single mother whose presence is needed in her child’s life.

But the US Attorney’s Office is pushing for the full 37-month term, arguing that a reduced sentence would not be fair or serve as a proper deterrent.

Hajia4Reall revealed that she was introduced to internet fraud by Loveman Allison, the father of her daughter, whom she met in 2015 in the United States.

According to her, she fell in love with him before she discovered he was into fraud.

She also stated that Allison has been an irresponsible father.

Hajia4Reall was charged with her role in a $2 million romance scheme and was extradited from the United Kingdom to the United States.
